TRAVENIA A. HOLDEN, the principal attorney of Holden Law Office in Lebanon, Tennessee earned her bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. She has devoted a substantial part of her legal practice to elder law issues; advising and representing clients on matters involving conservatorships, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, preparation and administration of special needs trusts and long-term planning and asset management for individuals and their families. Prior to her elder law practice, she served for a number of years with private law firms, as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of Attorney General, Assistant General Counsel for the Board of Regents and Assistant Corporate Counsel for Access Health Systems where she litigated employment, contract and other issues.

Ms. Holden has presented on several legal and elder law topics across the State of Tennessee, and is active in several community and professional organizations.
